*Security
Amount (to be submitted before auction)- up to 14-05-2024 (Tuesday) before
17:00 hrs., interested bidders are required to transfer an Earnest Money
Deposit (EMD) of 30,000/- each for vehicle to take part in the auction by
NEFT/RTGS to “ACCURATE AUCTIONEERS” account number*
Rate
to be quoted-Rate shall be quoted Per Lot-Tax – GST, GST+ any taxes as will be
in enforce/applicable on date of Invoicing.
Final
Amount to be deposited by Bidder-(Highest bid) + Taxes as applicable
SPECIAL
CONDITIONS:-
The buyer
must note that the Consulate shall only be responsible for de-registering the
vehicle at Tardeo, RTO, Mumbai and handing over necessary transfer papers to
the highest bidder.
If the
buyer is a domiciled resident of the State of Maharashtra, he must pay the Road
Tax at current rate (pro-rata basis) to the Maharashtra Govt at Tardeo RTO
after which that RTO will issue him an NOC. Thereafter he must register the car
in his favor in any RTO within the state of Maharashtra. The buyer must get the
NOC and Insurance transferred in his favor at his own cost.
If the
buyer is NOT a domiciled resident of the State of Maharashtra, he must still
pay the Road Tax at current rate (pro-rata basis) to the Maharashtra Govt at
Tardeo RTO after which that RTO will issue him an NOC. Thereafter, he must
re-pay Road Tax at current rate to the State in which he wishes to register the
vehicle (outside Maharashtra). Once he obtains RC from his state in his favor,
he must subsequently apply for refund of Road Tax paid to the Govt. of
Maharashtra at Tardeo RTO. The buyer must get the NOC and Insurance transferred
in his favor at his own cost.
He must
make his own arrangement for the removal of the vehicle. The vehicle will be
delivered to the highest bidder and his security returned only after the buyer
completes all the formalities at the RTO and submits a copy of RC book to the
Consulate proving that the vehicle has been successfully transferred in his
favor. The Consulate shall not be responsible for any delays in the process of
completing RTO formalities.
U.S Consulate General, Mumbai, will provide
the required documents in the name of bidders after taking necessary
permissions from the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi or the Govt of
Maharashtra (as the case may be) and there could be some delays in obtaining
some permissions. So bidder should take care of it.
GENERAL
TERMS:-
- *Date of delivery: The Vehicle is auctioned on "As is Where is" basis. The
buyer will have to get the Insurance and registration certificates
transferred in his favour at his own cost. And will make his own
arrangement for removal of the vehicle. The security will be returned only after the Transfer of the vehicle in the name of
highest bidder. The Buyer Will have to pays first Road Tax in Mumbai for
registration or take NOC to other State.
After complétion all the formalités of RTO, and de registration of
vehicle in the name of U.S Consulate General, Mumbai vehicle Will be
handed over to the highest bidder. *
- The highest bidder should
give his proper identification i.e Voter card/Driving License/Adhar
Card/Passport or any other valid proof of address in case of individual
and Registration Certificate in case of the firms etc. before taking the
delivery of the vehicle.
- It would be assumed that the
bidder has inspected the vehicle before the auction. No complaint will be entertained
after the auction.
- In case the successful bidder
backs out, his security amount will be forfeited.
- Accurate Auctioneers shall be
the facilitator for the online bidding process, on behalf of to U.S
Consulate General, Mumbai, and shall provide the electronic platform to
aid the online bidding process. to
U.S Consulate General, Mumbai will not disclose highest bidder name to
third party or other bidders.
- Transfer Documents will be
prepared in the name of actual bidder and provided address proof (at the
time of bid) only. Third party transfer and address change will not be
allowed.
- U.S Consulate General, Mumbai, will
provide the required documents in the name of bidders after taking the
permission from Ministry of External Affairs it will take 30 to 45 days.
So bidder should take care of it.
